A Rolex Man On The Set And Off The Set

Arguably the hottest young star in Hollywood today because of his dual success with acting and producing, Ashton Kutcher wears a Rolex watch both on and off the set. In his recent commercial for Nikon, Ashton takes pictures at a wedding with a classic white dial Rolex Milgauss on his wrist. When Jonathan Ross interviewed him last year on a London talk show, Ashton Kutcher also wore the white dial Rolex Milgauss. Did Ashton keep the watch for himself after the commercial shoot or was this an extension of his contract? Since stars rarely do television interviews about commercials or in connection with commercial promotions, clearly his passion for the Rolex Milgauss carried over into his regular life. In 1997, Ashton Kutcher was a biochemical engineering student at the University of Iowa, working at General Mills sweeping Cheerio dust from the floor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for $12 an hour. But if I’ve got my tie on, I’m going to work.” Leveraging his good looks and goofball appeal, Ashton Kutcher created Punk’d, the MTV hidden-camera show in which he played pranks on fellow celebrities. Some wondered if he was “punking” them when he began dating sexy puma actress Demi Moore, 15 years his senior, but the couple expressed their lasting commitment when they married in 2005. Demi Moore’s children from her previous marriage to Bruce Willis call Kutcher MOD, short for “my other dad.” As for his vibrant career, Ashton stars in feature films, produces sitcoms and reality shows on network television, and twitters away about his life to his sea of loyal fans. Although the Rolex Milgauss is an incredible professional timepiece, it fits Ashton better on the set than in real life.
